Today at Safeliz, we want to take a moment to pay tribute and express our sincere gratitude to Pastor Mario Martinelli and his family, who, after fifteen years at the helm of our publishing house, is beginning a new stage as director of publications at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
During these years, Mario has been much more than a director. He has been a visionary leader, a close colleague, and a committed reference point for the mission that inspires each of our projects: sharing hope, health, and values through our products.
Under his leadership, the publishing house has expanded, beginning to create its own Bibles and thematic Bibles that help deepen the study of the Word at every stage of life, Christian board games, theological books and books on different topics written by Adventist leaders and specialists for church members, and the Safeliz Learning platform, with courses on topics that are highly relevant today.
One of the most emblematic projects of his leadership has been the Maranatha Study Bible, a reference resource for the study of Scripture that reflects Pastor Martinelli's passion for offering quality materials that are rigorous in content and deeply inspiring.
But beyond his editorial achievements, those of us who know Mario will always remember his warm and humane character. With simplicity, he knew how to accompany his team in moments of joy and also in times of challenge. He knew how to listen, motivate and guide, becoming a reference point not only professionally, but also spiritually. His ability to dream big projects and drive them forward with determination has inspired all of us who are part of this publishing house. Furthermore, if there is one thing that stands out about Pastor Martinelli, it is that when he believes in a project, he fights tirelessly until he achieves it. It is also worth noting that Mario and his family's involvement went far beyond our publishing house, as he was also involved in the local church.
We are filled with satisfaction and pride to know that he will bring his experience and vision to the General Conference, where he will have the opportunity to continue expanding the influence of Christian publications around the world. We are convinced that his new responsibility will be a platform to continue sowing hope and strengthening people's faith.
On behalf of Safeliz, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Pastor Mario Martinelli and his wife Liliam. Thank you for your dedication, your calm and steady leadership, your constant ability to innovate, and above all, for always reminding us of the importance of keeping Christ at the centre of every project.
May God continue to guide your steps in this new stage of your life, and may you continue to be an instrument of blessing wherever the Lord places you.
Thank you, Mario, for your legacy at Safeliz and for all the fruits of your great work!
